I haven't had much time lately to draw anything fun for myself, and so today I snuck in a really quick Sketch Dailies. Whipped this up in an hour... Sketch Dailies is making me faster!

Izabel
Last night I did this quick doodle of a character from Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples' graphic novel Saga. I just got Volume 3, and (obviously) it's great. I'm heading to MoCCA in a few weeks and Fiona Staples is going to be there... I'll try not to fangirl too hard.

Wolfelopes (and Batgirls)
So I'm working on this little Wolfelope book with my friend (which is what those designs I posted a few days ago were for), and it's turning out to be super cute. It's for kids with allergies.
Also, I just randomly stumbled across these Batgirl redesign drawings from a few months ago that I never posted. The first one was a concept that ended up leading to the final design that I submitted to Project Rooftop.

Divergent
One of my most recent pieces for Young Adult Magazine... Tris and Four from the new movie Divergent, plus the author of the book series, Veronica Roth.

Cosmos
I am thrilled that Cosmos is on TV again, and that the legacy of Carl Sagan is living on with Neil deGrasse Tyson. Few words written or spoken have impacted my worldview as profoundly as Sagan's Pale Blue Dot. I've said before that if I couldn't draw and was also, you know, a genius, I would've loved to have been an astronomer. But since I can draw and I'm not a genius, I'm very happy to illustrate the astronomers :)
