I'm Anna, and I draw! A New York native, I graduated from Syracuse University's Illustration program in 2012 and have worked professionally on a wide range of projects. In my free time I enjoy experimenting with my sourdough starter Carl, bouldering, birding, horseback riding, reading, baking, and writing.

I'm currently lead character artist at Molly Rocket, a Seattle-based game developer, where I'm working on 1935, Handmade Hero, and Meow the Infinite.

  1. Hello, Anna!
As you can see I am a big fan of your artwork. I follow you on every site I can find. Especially on Facebook. So....might I recommend a few ideas to draw. Can you draw a little girl about 12 yrs old is being save by her teddy bear from tentacle like nightmares chasing after them. That the little bear is carrying her away over his head. Please?

    1. I'm so happy you like my art! I'm afraid I can't take drawing requests. If you're interested in commissioning a piece, you can email me at aerettberg@gmail.com and I can let you know my fees.
Thanks so much for your support!!

  2. Hi Anna,

In May, my church is holding its annual festival and I have volunteered to coordinate the entertainment. I am creating a postcard to send to local high schools, specifically to the attention of their drumline, asking for them to perform at the festival. Google images has the cutest drawing of a drumline which I would love to use on my postcard...YOU are the artist. :o) Would you mind if I used it?

I would note your name as the artist. Please let me know...my goal is to send the postcards out by the end of this month (January). Thanks for your time and consideration.

    1. Hi Jenny,
Since those are drawings that I made as a donation to another group, that would be fine-- just as long as you won't be making a profit off of them (no selling of prints, etc). And yes, if you could please credit me on the cards I'd appreciate it.
      Thanks,
      Anna

  3. Your illustrations are just amazing and I'm going to crawl back to the drawing board so I can impale myself on my sharpened #2 in shame. :) I mean, wow...consistent, clean, each drawing has weight and body. Someday, I may get there. In the meantime, please keep drawing and posting - thanks!

  4. Good morning! I am writing a blog about classical music (dechareli.net) and for some timeI have been looking for an illustration precisely to Rimsky-Korsakov's piece Sheherazade, that you wrote about in your post. By chance, I came across your illustration which I immediately liked for its playfulness and its vivid colours. I was wondering whether you would allow me to use your drawing to illustrate the post. Obviously you would be mentioned in the caption as the copyright owner. Have a great day. Charles
