YouTubers

So you may remember I drew this a while ago... 

It's YouTuber Jenna Marbles. I wanted to do a few more of my favorite YouTube peeps but I never got around to it. Today I was in the mood to do some cartoon caricatures, so I thought I'd go back and finish this little series... I also experimented with some new brushes, which was fun. So here are some of my favorite YouTubers:

YA Author, 1/2 of the Vlogbrothers, Manager of the Swindon Town Swoodilypoopers, and all around awesome person, John Green.

The other half of the Vlogbrothers, and also an awesome person, Hank Green.

So anyway, these were fun, and they didn't take very long (which is nice). I've been working on a few commissions so it's nice to do some other things. I'd still like to color those tennis players I drew last week, so hopefully I'll get to that soon.

Sketchdump 2

Just more doodles. Including a flapper, a girl with flowy hair, some Doctor Whoodles, a knight guy that I'm pretty sure I subconsciously based on photos I keep seeing on tumblr of a very Shakespearean Hiddles, some samurai-ish guy, and apparently I still can't stop with the Loki.

Quickly colored the Who sketch.

...so I drew some tennis players. (Luckily there will be more tennis soon with the Olympics then US Open. Yay!)

Faces

So I've been in New York for the past few days hanging out with my brother. Yesterday he had to work and it was too hot to go anywhere (plus I was still pretty exhausted from the 4th of July... we watched the fireworks show, which involved becoming a human sardine in 95 degree heat to watch some buildings obscure fireworks.) 

So anyway, I was tired and hot and decided to just stay in his apartment in Queens. And draw! All I have is my sketchbook, so I just doodled some faces. Yay, faces! There's no scanner here and I took these photos with my phone, so they may be a little blurry/distorted. So yeah, here are some faces of random people:
