So yesterday I had the opportunity to show my portfolio to Jim Morris, the General Manager of Pixar.

It was kind of crazy. I didn't even know that I would be meeting him until the night before, and at the point I only knew that it would be 'some guy from Pixar'. In class about 2 hours before I found out who he was, and then I started to freak out. It was awesome though-- he was really nice and liked my portfolio and short animation Chameleon, which made me feel good. And I gave him one of my cards. Oh yeah.

On a separate note, here's one of the illustrations for the children's book I'm working on for the DMRF. I think it's my favorite one in the book.

  1. Thanks for the update on the Pixar interview, we've been hoping it went well! Sure hope it leads to something, but even if not, it has to be an ego boost to be praised by the GM of the coolest animation company on the planet. :-)
